You know you are having fun when...

... you go to one of your 15 different classes over the course of the week and don't realize until its too late that you have (once again) volunteered for a presentation for the following week.

... you start all of the just mentioned classes with a mindset that bursts of skepticism as to whether you actually need this class and you leave them at the end with your silent promise to never put your thirst of knowledge in doubt ever again because that class was amazing.

... you watch the pile of books to read for school on your desk grow by at least 4 a day without freakign out.

... you find yourself swimming in the Neckar (thats a river, for all of you uneducated geography-dropping readers... ;)....) at 2:30am in the middle of Oktober not caring about possible consequeces.

... you DO care about the consequences once they appear afterwards.

... you have a (belated) thanksgiving dinner with friends during which you cook like a pro and all but can't eat a single bite because your stomache would get rid of it in a most unpleasant way (very likely one of the just mention consequences).

... you spend all Sunday in bed because the lack of food is not allowing for anything else but you don't care because it gives you the best excuse to read as much as you want!

... you type this with the last scrap of energy that you have and are now on your way to some place that sells eatable stuff (again not caring about the consequences because you litteraly can't move a mustle before eating SOMETHING first... no matter how short it stays... fingers crossed it stays down!)

!nilreB... (fyi: you have to read this backwards!... geeez people...)

yo!

To start: nothing seems to be able to cure my forgetfullness. From newly-bought books to cellphone-chargers over toothbrushes to ... something else, I forget.... NOTHING is save from being victimizes by my ridiculous capability to not remember. Good, end of topic! (or I might start crying... of frustration... or happiness, caused by forgetful oblivion)

Before I continue: This computer does not have spell-check. I'm screwed!

There have been lots of "Oh my God, its you!"-s in the past week. I'm in Berlin, maybe thats why. You'd think the city is big enough to NOT run into people you know but that is not true! I might have helped out a littel by visiting them but lets forget I just told you that... I will anyways...

The reaction of people was quite variable. Lets give some examples without revealing the person's identities:

I ran into Person 1, who recognized me immediately and went on to show me around to other people:
Person 1: *to person 2* Look who's here! Do you remember her?
Person 2: .... ehmmm... Marie?
..there was an awkward silence right after that

In another situation:
Me: *opens a door* "Hello, Person 3! How are you?"
Person 3: *looks at me in shock* "My God... you've grown so much! I didn't think I would ever see you again..."
That was quite touching. *sniff*

There were other situations but most of them went in one of the two ways just decribed. Berlin itself hasn't changed much. There are many things I recognize and some I don't but the overall mood and atmosphere in the city is exactly the same: A littel bit like in a dream, sometimes very sketchy but most of the time just so damn beautiful!

Random observation in between: the radio in this internet cafe is very very loud... its hard to focus...

Book-addiciton-update: I am not addicted. I am not addicted. I am NOT addicted! But I still am not able to leave a bookstore without buying at least three new books! I am NOT-... cured... damn it!

I just heard, on the ridiculously loud radio, that Obama was awarded (or will be awarded) the Nobel Peace Price. Woooot!

Ok! Focus!
I still haven't cut my hair. It is approaching a lenghth that wasn't reached for at least 10 years. Its epic! HANGIN' IN THERE!

What else is noteworthy? Oh yah.. I'm sort of overthinking the whole Lawschool-plan. Sounds boring, I know, but wait 'till you hear the plan:

...

....

.......

I will blow up every sigle Law school so I wont have to go! Inglorious Basterds-Style!
Sound good?
